Your phone and Console connect directly to the Controller whenever possible. Remote access uses the hosted service.

Controller address

Use a reserved IP or local unicast DNS name. For separate VLANs, permit this device to reach the Controller on TCP 8443 with return traffic.

Controller Wi-Fi

Use your home network’s name and password. Both 2.4 and 5 GHz are supported.

Set up a new Controller or recover its connection

Claim the Controller while online first. For recovery, with the Controller powered on, hold its BOOT button for five seconds and release it. Join its Poolside Wi-Fi network using the setup code on its label, then return here. The setup window lasts 15 minutes.

After saving, reconnect your phone to your home network and check the Controller address above. Ownership and equipment settings are preserved.

Replace a Controller

Create a backup first if the old Controller is reachable. The replacement retains pool membership, but every client must pair again. Restore mappings only after commissioning the new board.

Transfer pool ownership

When the recipient accepts, all existing memberships, invitations, and client pairings are removed. The new owner pairs again and reviews schedules. Offline Controllers apply the change when they reconnect.

Transfer any pools you want to keep operating, or explicitly retire them below. This removes your account, memberships, pairings and related personal records. An offline Controller cannot receive a revocation until it reconnects. Deletion is processed in the background.
